We are currently seeking an Early Childhood Teacher who are passionate about early childhood education and care.  At our Service, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children aged 2 5 years. We believe in the power of early childhood education and the impact it has on a child's development. As we prepare to open our doors, we are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Certificate III and Diploma qualified educators to join our team.

Responsibilities: 

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you are responsible for the safety of all children in your care whilst ensuring constant compliance with regulatory requirements such as but not limited to ratios, active supervision and providing a high standard of programming. You will be required to work alongside and support the teaching staff of the Service.

To always adhere to the Education and Care Services National Regulations under the Education and Care Services National Law, child protection regulations as well as the policies, goals and philosophy of the Service. To uphold the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards’ as per the Services, Philosophy, goals, policies and procedures.

Respect and provide support and inclusion for all children, regardless of gender, cultural background or socio-economic status.

Act as a positive role model, demonstrating appropriate behaviour and language

Provide adequate supervision for the children, and work towards supporting colleagues in achieving the same. No staff member should be performing another task whilst supervising the children

Skills and Qualifications:

Degree in Early Childhood from a recognized University

ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teacher

Current Senior First Aid certificate

Acceptance from Working with Children Check

CHCPRT001 - Identify and respond to children and young people at risk

HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting
