A Diploma-qualified Child Care Worker is responsible for supporting the learning, development, and wellbeing of children in early education settings (typically 0–5 years). Working under the guidance of a lead educator or centre director, they contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of developmentally appropriate programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).

Task & Responsibilities

What you'll be doing

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that support the cognitive, physical, social and emotional development of children
• Provide a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment that fosters creativity, curiosity and a love of learning
• Build warm, trusting relationships with children and their families, and regularly communicate with parents about their child's progress
• Observe and document children's learning and development, and use this information to tailor lesson plans and activities
• Work collaboratively with the teaching team to implement the centre's curriculum and policies
• Ensure compliance with all relevant childcare regulations and standards

Qualification & Experience

What we're looking for

• Diploma in Childhood Education and Care.
• An understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families
• Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive care and educational experiences
