Task & Responsibilities

Duties include but not limited to:

• Developing relationships that support and partner with families.
• Ensuring the service is compliant with the Education and Care Services National.
• Law and Regulations and other relevant legislation.
• Ensuring that the policies of the organisation are implemented.
• Ensuring the organisation’s Quality Improvement Plan is implemented and that the organisation works towards exceeding the National Quality Standard for Early Education and Care.
• Ensuring that the service and staff acts on the organisation’s commitment to continuous improvement wherever possible.
• Is responsible for the overall day to day management and administration of the service on behalf of the employer / operator and exercises decision making authority within that role.
• Preparing Roster.
• Performance management and staff training.
• Overseeing and guiding childcare staff to ensure they provide appropriate care and supervision for young children.
• Ensuring the facility remains a safe environment for children, employees, and visitors.
